About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Greer's Markets. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are available to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, handle, and store meat products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Cut, trim, and present fresh meats to meet customer expectations.
  • Be knowledgeable about our ground beef program, grinding procedures, and handling of fresh trim.
  • Fully stock and rotate all meat cases to ensure a visually appealing display.
  • Understand the quality and grade of all products to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Ensure proper signing of products to maintain accurate inventory and pricing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of meat cutting and processing techniques, as well as excellent customer service skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and safe working area.
