Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a Meat Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of business operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management to prepare meat products according to established standards.
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team, communicate effectively, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Be a Problem Solver: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement by utilizing handheld technology to make immediate business decisions.
  • Be an Owner: Ensure commitment to operational excellence by maintaining work areas according to company policies and procedures, ensuring quality and date control standards for meat products, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
  • Be a Customer Advocate: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, thanking, and smiling at members, answering questions, and maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
