About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Associates Group. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during dental procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), utilizing advanced technology to capture high-quality images.
  • Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments, promoting optimal recovery and health outcomes.
  • Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring seamless communication among team members.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA standards and promoting a culture of safety.
Requirements
  • Valid x-ray certification, demonstrating expertise in radiography.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in science and mathematics.
  • CPR certification (preferred), showcasing commitment to patient safety and well-being.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience taking impressions and pouring models, utilizing advanced techniques to create accurate replicas.
  • Experience assisting during a variety of procedures, including CR/SR fillings, crown/bridge prep, and other complex treatments.
  • Ability to setup and breakdown operatories, ensuring efficient workflow and minimizing downtime.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Experience with dental software, such as Open Dental, preferred, with a strong understanding of electronic health records and practice management systems.
