Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at a supportive school district located in California. As an SLPA, you will provide support to the lead SLP, administer assessments and evaluations, work in 1:1 and group settings, collect data, and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the lead SLP in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
  • Administer assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop strategies to support their progress.
  • Work in 1:1 and group settings to provide direct support to students with communication disorders.
  • Collect data and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner to ensure compliance with district and state regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active SLPA license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California.
  • All clinical hours must be completed.
  • One year of school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
