Indonesian Language Educator

Berlitz Languages, a leader in language education, is seeking a qualified Indonesian language educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the Indonesian language and have experience in teaching both adults and children. Prior teaching experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate lessons in alignment with Berlitz's educational principles, prioritizing the objectives, requirements, and interests of students.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate language proficiency and learning needs as directed by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.
  • Engage with both individual and group learners at various locations or through virtual platforms, as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Specialist for regular lesson evaluations and coaching to enhance teaching effectiveness and achieve defined goals.
  • Complete required training and professional development through the Berlitz Learning platform or in-person sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Incorporate educational technology into lesson plans and manage shared teaching resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in Spanish is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic administrative capabilities and computer proficiency for lesson delivery and record-keeping.
  • Flexibility in work hours and availability.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The role may involve standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks, with occasional lifting of light objects.

Work Environment:
This position is situated in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and telecommunication devices.

Compensation: $22.00/hour
