About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior to join our team at Jobot. As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role in providing tax planning and consulting services to our high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
  • Provide tax planning and consulting to high net worth clients, utilizing your expertise in tax law and regulations.
  • Research and resolve technical tax issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations, staying ahead of changes and updates.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve client services and firm processes, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Communicate with clients to explain tax matters and provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
  • Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of tax law, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax concepts.
  • Experience working with individuals and businesses clients, with a focus on high net worth clients.
