Position Title: Senior Tax Consultant

Employment Type: Full-time/Direct Hire with flexible hybrid/remote options available

Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000, based on experience

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Consultant:

  • Strategically planning, organizing, and overseeing multiple projects while utilizing various resources to meet client and organizational objectives
  • Effectively managing a high volume of client engagements and conveying complex technical information clearly
  • Leading and nurturing a motivated and empowered team
  • Overseeing budget management and profitability for assigned projects and client engagements
  • Staying current with professional standards and educating team members on new laws and regulations
  • Participating in client meetings and ensuring that technical tax issues are addressed while identifying potential tax savings opportunities
  • Building and maintaining a network of referral sources, engaging prospects, and promoting additional firm services to clients

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory; a Master's degree is highly preferred
  • CPA certification is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including effective coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management strategies
