We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team at Knowhirematch. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive resource development plan, including annual fund, planned giving, major gifts, capital campaigns, and special projects.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff in the department, overseeing the daily workflow and providing constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Represent the organization in a fundraising capacity at special community functions, serving as the principal person responsible for one-on-one solicitation of major gifts.
- Develop and administer fundraising policies and procedures, as well as annual reviews, and develop and monitor annual department goals.
- Responsible for department financial management, including the development of the annual budget, investment policy, and development of monthly financial reports.
- Develop and maintain a positive and harmonious working relationship with hospital staff, Foundation Board, Hospital Board, medical staff, senior leadership, and community.
- Provide ongoing education and overall guidance to the Foundation Board and its committees, and play a key role in providing overall concept and messaging for the Foundation's marketing collateral and content for all communication channels.
- Oversee organization of all fundraising projects and donor recognition programs, including the constituent relationship management process and proper stewardship of gifts.
- Capitalize on grant funding opportunities on an ongoing basis, and maintain current knowledge of best practices in fundraising and development.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or other related field required.
- At least three years of fundraising experience and nonprofit sector experience.
- Professional Foundation/Development credentialing preferred.
