Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Cancer Care Specialist. As a key member of our oncology team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with cancer from diagnosis to end of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver direct patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals and team members.
  • Review and update patient data, ensuring it is accurate and available prior to and during each visit.
  • Collaborate with physicians to assess and treat symptoms related to disease, treatment, and disease progression.
  • Perform telephone triage, utilizing critical assessment skills to evaluate patient concerns and needs.
  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications according to Tennessee Oncology standards.
  • Document patient information and services performed in the Electronic Medical Record.
  • Complete daily and weekly tasks, including drug inventory counts and supply requests.
  • Inform Clinic Manager of clinic needs and concerns.
  • Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and MAs.
  • Stock and manage inventory and supplies.
  • Generate and review daily clinical reports for completion and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Current TN or compact state RN license.
  • Minimum one year RN experience (may waive with approval).
  • Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card required within 6 months of hire.
  • Current TO approved BLS provider card.
  • Oncology certification strongly recommended within 2 years of hire.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $83,500 - $110,000 based on experience and qualifications.
