**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Seasonal Animal Keeper to join our team at the Zoological Society of Cincinnati. As a Seasonal Animal Keeper, you will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our primate collection, including cleaning animal displays, holding areas, and public sections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain animal enclosures, including cleaning waste and providing fresh water and food.
  • Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any abnormalities to a supervisor.
  • Assist with animal transport and medication administration.
  • Provide engaging interactions with guests, educating them about biodiversity and conservation.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the highest standards of animal care and guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an animal-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in animal husbandry, particularly with primates.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
