Key Responsibilities- Supervise and guide Health Facilities Evaluator Nurses in conducting surveys and inspections of healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Review and analyze reports, surveys, and correspondence prepared by field staff to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with healthcare facility operators and administrators to provide guidance and support on regulatory requirements and policies.
- Collaborate with program personnel to ensure quality work and performance, and to achieve established goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement training programs for Health Facilities Evaluator Nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge in healthcare quality assurance.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare quality assurance, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to healthcare quality and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare facility operators, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
