Are you a licensed Medication Aide looking for a new challenge? KARE offers a unique opportunity to work as a Medication Assistant, providing essential support to residents in senior housing and post-acute facilities.

About the Role

As a Medication Assistant with KARE, you will be responsible for providing medication administration and treatment assistance to residents, as well as supervising those who self-administer medication. You will also be required to report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors, maintain accurate records, and provide emotional and social support to residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medication administration and treatment assistance to residents
  • Supervise residents who self-administer medication
  • Report changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors

Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree
  • A CMA license
  • Ability to lift at least 51 lbs on a regular basis
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
