Key Responsibilities:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your role will involve:

  • Assisting in the delivery of nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Providing personal care to patients, including hygiene assistance, feeding, bathing, and mobility support.
  • Preparing patients and necessary equipment for medical procedures and examinations.
  • Monitoring and documenting clinical activities, reporting any changes in patient conditions to the RN.
  • Supporting nursing staff with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a smooth process for patients and their families.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, managing supplies and equipment efficiently.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards, promoting a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and pursuing professional development opportunities.
  • Demonstrating cultural sensitivity and effective communication with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or equivalent military training.
  • Preferred six months of relevant work experience.
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification from a recognized provider.
