Position Overview:
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a skilled Compensation Analyst to provide remote support while ensuring a strong focus on compensation strategies and practices.

Location:
Remote (must reside in the Los Angeles area)

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Compensation:
$29/hr - $34/hr

Employment Type:
Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the organization’s compensation databases and related tools.
  • Develop and implement compensation strategies while participating in related initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Staffing & Recruitment team to facilitate compensation discussions for new hires and promotions.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Conduct job evaluations and maintain accurate job descriptions and organizational job architecture.
  • Prepare and regularly update job descriptions to reflect current roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide salary recommendations based on job evaluations to ensure market alignment and internal equity.
  • Assist in the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, bonuses, and equity programs.
  • Conduct audits to ensure data compliance and system integrity.
  • Research best practices to enhance compensation policies and programs.
  • Stay informed about market trends and ensure adherence to relevant compensation regulations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through proactive engagement and inclusive practices.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compensation analyst role.
