Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Government Jobs. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation, and alteration of City heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pumps, direct digital controls, cooling towers, chilled water systems, boilers, and related equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Perform preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems
* Work under the direction of the Parks and Facilities Supervisor or designee
* Subject to after-hours and weekend work as needed

Requirements:

* Ability to perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties
* Knowledge of City heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pumps, direct digital controls, cooling towers, chilled water systems, boilers, and related equipment and facilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
