ROW Coordinator Job Description

**Job Summary:**

The ROW Coordinator plays a critical role in the success of our utility infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for developing and conducting outreach to landowners, negotiating property rights and leases, and coordinating survey services and work scopes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and conduct outreach to landowners to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Negotiate property rights and leases to secure necessary permissions.
  • Coordinate survey services and develop work scopes to meet project requirements.
  • Interact with landowners to address questions and concerns associated with company operations.
  • Perform land records research to ensure accurate project information.
  • Secure railroad permits and other land use approvals to facilitate project progress.
  • Enter data into the departments CLS landowner/land rights system database to maintain accurate records.
  • Draft easements, licenses, leases, settlements, contracts, etc. for legal review to ensure compliance.
  • Participate on project teams as the ROW representative, prepare reports, and meet schedule and budget expectations.

**Requirements:**

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with landowners and project teams.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to secure necessary permissions and resolve issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Suite to efficiently manage data and documents.
  • Excellent skills with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze and interpret project data.

**About the Role:**
