CONSTRUCTION MANAGER POSITION - Solar Energy Projects
Location: Vermont
Contract Duration: 12 Months - Potential for Permanent Placement
Piper Maddox is actively seeking a Construction Manager to oversee a prominent developer and operator in the solar energy sector. This role is critical for a large-scale project that has the potential for long-term engagement.
The initial engagement will be for a 12-month contract, with opportunities for extension or transition to a permanent role based on project requirements and performance.
Key Responsibilities and Required Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in managing photovoltaic solar ground sites as a construction manager or engineer
- Overseeing site operations and ensuring timely procurement of necessary equipment
- Reporting directly to the project manager
- Providing daily oversight of subcontractors across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
- Coordinating project timelines with subcontractors
- Ensuring quality standards are met in collaboration with subcontractors
- Managing Requests for Information (RFIs) from subcontractors with the project manager, designers, and owner engineer
- No Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities
