POSITION OVERVIEW
This role involves collaborating with the Recreation team to deliver a well-rounded and varied recreation program for students. The focus is on promoting health and wellness by managing the recreation activities as specified in the approved schedule.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adheres to all integrity protocols and procedures, ensuring the accuracy of student data.
• Aids in the oversight of a comprehensive and varied recreation program.
• Coordinates recreation activities with CPP and Social Development, including evening events.
• Collaborates with Center and local community resources to enhance recreation and leadership programs.
• Guarantees safe practices and compliance with established safety standards.
• Records student participation and accountability during recreation events.
• Manages inventory of equipment and materials, controls their usage, and recommends purchases as necessary. Conducts repairs on equipment when required.
• Ensures the overall appearance, condition, and organization of recreation facilities are maintained.
• May supervise the student recreation aide program.
• Produces high-quality work and assignments in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner.
• Maintains standards for personal attendance, accountability, and productivity.
• Plans, prioritizes, and organizes tasks to achieve established goals and deadlines.
• Applies job knowledge effectively to fulfill all required responsibilities and proactively maintains necessary skills.
• Mentors and models the Career Success Standards as outlined by the PRH.
• Provides exceptional supervision and management for the student population, positively influencing student behavior and maintaining respect and accountability.
• Offers timely operational support for Center functions to ensure quality programs and services, pursuing improvements to meet program objectives.
• Communicates ideas and information clearly and concisely, contributing meaningfully to group efforts with relevant insights and knowledge. Provides quality and timely information to DOL/Company as needed.
• Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas, identifies issues, analyzes causes, and evaluates appropriate solutions before taking or recommending actions. Follows up to ensure prompt resolution of problems.
• Collaborates with staff from all departments to ensure effective supervision and services for students.
• Accepts direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager, including temporary assignments in other departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate of Arts Degree or one year of relevant experience working with youth is preferred. A valid in-State Driver's License is necessary, and meeting Company insurability standards is essential. A CDL is advantageous.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching. The ability to lift 40 pounds and assess lifting loads to request assistance when needed is required.
