Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Post-Award Grants and Contracts Specialist to join our team at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Biomedical Informatics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform post-award accounting duties for small grants and contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgets, sponsor terms, federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor account activity, including expenditures, cost transfers, adjustments, reconciliations, and other related transactions, and report issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports to federal and sponsoring agencies, and prepare routine financial documentation and memos.
  • Maintain grant records and storage, track and prepare requested materials.
Essential Functions
  • Perform post-award accounting duties for small grants and contracts.
  • Monitor account activity and prepare routine financial reports.
  • Assist with policy and procedure interpretation and government report preparation.
Physical Effort

Minimal physical effort required.
