Job Summary

Epic Personnel Partners, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing technical support in various areas of human resources, including advising and making recommendations to management, coordinating performance management programs, and facilitating effective communication between employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support in human resources, including advising and making recommendations to management
  • Coordinate performance management programs, including setting performance expectations and ensuring policy guidelines are met
  • Facilitate effective communication between employees, including coordinating meetings and ensuring timely communication
  • Work closely with temporary agencies to ensure policies and procedures are being followed
  • Serve as a backup in processing payroll and employee benefits
  • Investigate and respond to employee complaints and EEOC charges
  • Implement and apply company policies and procedures
  • Monitor the Distribution Center environment and notify management of issues or concerns
  • Complete and submit all unemployment information to the state in a timely manner
  • Represent the Company at unemployment hearings and tribunals
  • Provide professional support of safety programs and administrative support of Workman's Compensation Programs
  • Serve as a resource for employees answering general benefit questions and assist with open enrollment process
  • Track compliance of new hires and pay ranges
  • Supervise the daily activities of the HR staff
  • Ensure all I-9 forms are completed and accurate for all current and past employees
  • Maintain Distribution Center organization charts
  • Prepare, recommend, and maintain records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data changes of status
  • Stay current on recent federal, state, and local employment law changes and monitor labor law updates
  • Administer exit interviews, monitor findings, recommend changes, and evaluate effectiveness
  • Implement, oversee, and monitor the effectiveness of distribution center training initiatives
  • Conduct new employee orientation
  • Provide advice and counsel on personnel issues and investigate and coordinate the resolution of employee issues and conflicts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
