Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Systems Engineering Design to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of systems engineers and executing design processes across Advanced Development Programs (ADP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage Systems Design processes to ensure effective execution and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Systems Design with customers, program management, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Plan, establish, document, and communicate program-specific requirements to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage Systems Design staffing requirements to ensure adequate resources and expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science (STEM) from an accredited university.
  • Final Secret Clearance investigation within the last 5 years.
  • Experience in Systems Design and Requirements, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Exceptional communication and expectation-setting skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive-level personnel, colleagues, and team members.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in Cameo/MagicDraw and/or Rhapsody.
  • Experience using Vemo Resource Management.
  • Prior mentoring experience.
