Human Resources Supervisor

Epic Personnel Partners, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing technical support in various areas of human resources, including advising and making recommendations to management, coordinating performance management programs, and facilitating effective communication between employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide guidance and support to Distribution Center management on human resources-related matters.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate performance expectations, policy guidelines, and ensure timely completion of performance evaluations.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between all levels of employees, including temporary staff and management.
  • Policy Implementation: Implement and apply company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Serve as a backup in processing payroll and employee benefits, and investigate employee complaints and EEOC charges.
  • Unemployment Claims: Monitor Distribution Center environment, notify management of issues, and represent the company at unemployment hearings and tribunals.
  • Safety Programs: Provide professional support for safety programs and administrative support for Workman's Compensation Programs.
  • Employee Support: Serve as a resource for employees, answering general benefit questions and assisting with open enrollment.
  • HR Staff Supervision: Supervise the daily activities of the HR staff, ensuring accurate completion of I-9 forms and maintaining Distribution Center organization charts.
  • Personnel Transactions: Prepare, recommend, and maintain records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data changes of status.
  • Training Initiatives: Implement, oversee, and monitor the effectiveness of distribution center training initiatives, conducting training sessions as needed.
  • New Employee Orientation: Conduct new employee orientation and provide advice and counsel on personnel issues.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to stay current on recent federal, state, and local employment law changes and monitor labor law updates for changes that affect HR. You will also need to administer exit interviews, monitor findings, recommend changes, and evaluate effectiveness.
