Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our chemical dependency department, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide medical and addiction treatment to a diverse population.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain complete and accurate patient histories and physical data to determine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor and manage the effects of prescribed treatments and patient condition and progress following diagnosis.
  • Prescribe medication, write orders, and perform minor procedures as needed.
  • Interact with patients, family members, and medical/social/public services support to provide empathetic and understanding care.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in chemical dependency, primary care, or hospital medicine.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
