Overview:
System One is seeking an experienced Endocrinology Clinical Research Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in advancing clinical trials and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Role Summary:
As an Endocrinology Clinical Research Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical guidance and leadership throughout the clinical development process and the execution of clinical trials.
Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of clinical and pharmaceutical practices, collaborating with patients, regulatory bodies, fellow professionals, and biopharmaceutical organizations.
This position focuses on clinical trials spanning phases I to IV, where you will be tasked with monitoring the safety of trial participants and working collaboratively with the research team on all facets of clinical and scientific input as well as safety assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical insights to facilitate the execution of clinical trials
• Foster strong relationships and networks with both internal and external medical professionals and local thought leaders
• Collaborate closely with teams in various functions including Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Patient Engagement
• Lead and supervise a team of researchers and clinical personnel involved in clinical trial execution
• Ensure the successful implementation of research protocols in accordance with regulatory standards and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
• Assess the eligibility of study volunteers for participation in clinical trials
• Conduct physical examinations and assessments as dictated by research protocols
• Evaluate patient health through interviews and physical assessments
• Provide patients with information regarding their diagnosis and treatment objectives
• Review diagnostic reports and offer clinical guidance to the research team
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10 years of post-training experience as a physician specializing in endocrinology
• Active medical license in the state of employment with no history of suspension or debarment
• In-depth knowledge of treatment protocols and drug interactions
• Strong ability to establish rapport with patients and biopharmaceutical sponsors
• Provide clinical oversight to the research team
