Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Physician to join our team at Wake Research. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing clinical mentorship and leadership for clinical development and clinical trials conduct.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Trials Conduct: Provide clinical expertise into the conduct of clinical trials, including assessing and following the safety of clinical trial participants.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and provide oversight to a team of researchers and clinical staff involved in the conduct of clinical trials.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure successful execution of research protocols according to FDA regulations and GCP guidelines.
  • Patient Care: Evaluate study volunteer's eligibility for clinical trials, perform physical exams and assessments as required per research protocols, and communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
Requirements
  • 10 years' post-training experience as a physician in Neurology.
  • Currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of hire with no history of license suspension or debarment.
  • Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and biopharmaceutical sponsors.
  • Strong attention to detail and leadership qualities.
