Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Senior Accounting Specialist will take charge of overseeing financial operations and managing all accounting activities. This role encompasses responsibilities from accounts payable to the preparation of financial statements. The individual will be responsible for approving outgoing payments and processing general ledger entries and journal entries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all month-end closing procedures are completed, including account reconciliations and cash flow recording.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of GAAP standards and apply them in daily operations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel for reporting purposes.
  • Work independently while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably in a warehouse or third-party logistics (3PL) setting.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a high level of emotional intelligence and social competence.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail.
