Opportunity to Lead Financial Success

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Finance to join our team at Highgate Hotels, LP in Seattle, WA.

This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role and drive financial success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The Director of Finance will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining effective internal controls. Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective management and communication of cash flow-related issues.
  • Monitoring hotel revenues and expenses and ensuring accurate recording in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Creating annual budgets and monthly variance analysis, investigating and critiquing variances to budget or prior year, and offering practical improvement methodologies.
  • Ensuring hotels' compliance with all regulatory licenses and permits, leases, contracts, legal agreements, and operational taxes.
  • Analyzing financial data and operations to assist and advise management in maintaining financial objectives.

As a key member of our finance team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial performance and contribute to the overall success of Highgate Hotels, LP.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of hospitality finance/accounting experience.
  • Prior controller or director of finance experience, preferably at a premium-branded hotel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
  • Ability to supervise 2 or more employees.
  • Proficiency in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing, as well as hotel-specific systems.

Salary Range: $125K - $140K.
