Job Summary

Novant Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Forsyth Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Respiratory Therapist II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including administering and evaluating medication therapies, performing patient transfers and transports, and evaluating patient needs to provide appropriate routine respiratory care. You will also be expected to prioritize job duties according to patients' needs and changing acuity levels, and ensure timely completion of care interventions, medical orders, etc.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in respiratory care, including knowledge of ventilator management, airway management, and blood gas analysis. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Additionally, you will need to have a current RCP licensure in the appropriate state and a 2-year/Associate Degree or 4-year/Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
