Key Responsibilities- Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex nutritional needs.
- Develop and implement nutrition interventions, including medical nutrition therapy, to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families.
- Mentor and train junior dietitians to develop their skills and expertise.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and outcome-based research projects to advance the field of pediatric nutrition.
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Dietetics.
- Minimum of two years of related work experience.
- RD/RDN (Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist) credential issued by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics' Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience working in a pediatric hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records, nutrient analysis software, and other relevant technologies.
The Clinical Dietitian II will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of patient acuity. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CompensationSalary is based on level and requirements of the role, with a range of $100,339.20 to $118,476.80 per year.
