Job Title: Radiologic Technologist II, Per Diem

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team on a per diem basis in Mountain View, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiologic Technologist II to perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Competently perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed).
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
