Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Analyst to join our team at Sika Corporation. As a Materials Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining proper production component parts inventory levels in support of customer and internal manufacturing schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management:
    • Schedule delivery of component items to meet customer and internal manufacturing requirements.
    • Coordinate delivery of components to meet new project start-up schedules.
    • Expedite delivery to meet Purchase Order Due Dates.
    • Analyze component deliveries to ensure they meet production requirements.
    • Resolve discrepancies with inventory and Purchase Order Revisions.
    • Revised inventory and Purchase Order Revisions for returned material.
    • Periodically review planning parameters (Safety Stock Level, Minimum Order Quantities) based on changes in business conditions.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Conduct physical inventory of component items.
    • Investigate inventory adjustments (Root Cause Analysis).
    • Schedule delivery of components to maximize inventory turns.
    • Control Obsolete Material to minimize excess stock after requirements have ended.
    • Review bills for proper coding and resolve discrepancies.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • The ability to communicate effectively, both receiving and disseminating information for clear understanding.
  • The ability to make complex judgments in the interest of the company and employees.

  • Has an expert level of knowledge as it relates to analyzing data using methods that will facilitate process analysis and improvements.
