About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Covenant Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant II, you will work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care and support to assigned patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical duties as directed by a licensed practitioner, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • National Provider BLS certification upon hire.
  • 6 months of healthcare experience, including 6 months of medical assisting experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include national medical assistant certification.
