Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to fill a senior position at one of our esteemed hospital clients in the Atlanta, GA area. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to laboratory staff, ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient care.
  • Assist the supervisor in monitoring shift operations, including laboratory sections and technical duties.
  • Take charge in the absence of the supervisor, overseeing laboratory activities and ensuring continuity of services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution, plus successful completion of a formal technologist training program.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory performing technical duties.
  • ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
  • State-recognized certification as a Medical Technologist, or eligibility for certification.
