We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at O-AT-KA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment and machinery.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical and pneumatic systems, as well as pipe systems and related equipment.
- Operate machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate and repair parts and equipment.
- Use cutting torches and welding equipment to cut and join metal parts.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one to three years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
The Maintenance Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to moving machinery and equipment. The position requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $27.90, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
