Position Title: Wellness Dietitian
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000
Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional evenings and weekends
Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Wellness Dietitian to join our team. This full-time position will focus on delivering nutrition and wellness support, ensuring compliance with nutrition-related regulations, and enhancing the overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and promote our food philosophy and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state nutrition labeling laws and dietary requirements.
- Utilize nutrition analysis software to maintain accurate dietary information.
- Collaborate with management to develop marketing strategies for wellness events and dining promotions.
- Design and execute tailored wellness programs based on client needs.
- Educate operational teams on nutrition standards and food safety protocols.
- Stay informed on current nutrition trends and communicate relevant updates to the team.
- Oversee menu planning to ensure nutritional balance and appeal.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions on nutrition-related topics.
- Maintain accurate labeling and documentation for menu items.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
- State licensure as applicable.
- Preferred experience of two years in a wellness-focused role within educational or corporate settings.
- Serve-Safe certification is preferred; must obtain within twelve weeks of hire if not already certified.
- Familiarity with nutrition analysis tools is advantageous.
- Culinary or food service experience is highly desirable.
