About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Amazon's Worldwide Operations network as a Process Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting delivery associates through each step of the delivery process and tracking delivery metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to coordinate, facilitate, and measure training related activities for groups of Delivery Associates.
  • Track and monitor performance, including on-road ride-alongs to measure on-road quality, adherence to standards, and identify re-training and process improvement opportunities.
  • Support standard work and safety programs.
  • Train new Delivery Associates on how to drive and operate vehicles.
  • Cultivate and sustain a safe environment, high-quality customer delivery, professional driver experience, and positive culture.
  • Be a subject matter expert for Delivery Associates and Delivery Service Partners process areas.
  • Promote a positive culture for Delivery Associates.
  • Ensure all federal, state, and local laws and requirements are being followed.
  • Conduct weekly performance reviews with delivery partners.
  • Establish trust and credibility by maintaining a high level of integrity, communications, and professional demeanor.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
  • High school or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
  • Valid and active driver's license.
  • At least 21 years old, and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Eligible to drive in accordance with DOT requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
  • 1+ year of experience delivering training both to individuals and groups.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of team lead experience.
  • Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train, and assist team members.
  • Solution-oriented, analytical approach to problems.
  • A high bar for accuracy and detail.
  • Proven ability to develop strong partnerships.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $31,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $54,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
