Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman's Subsystem and Software Sustainment (S&SS) organization in Warner Robins, GA. As a key member of our Embedded Software Engineering Team, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining embedded operational flight programs using software development best practices and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements development, modeling and design, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain software using C/C++/C#/Ada or other OOP languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide leadership in solving complex problems and interacting with customers and/or stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 years of direct relevant experience. Will also consider a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent STEM related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct relevant experience with B.S degree; Minimum of 1 years of direct relevant experience with Masters degree.
  • Proficient in C/C++/C#/Ada or other OOP languages.
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS Degree in STEM related discipline.
  • Experience programming in Ada.
  • Experience using Jira/Bitbucket/Git.
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Experience with the Agile software development process.
  • Experience interfacing with customers and/or stakeholders.
  • Experience with digital signal processing.
  • Experience with radar principles.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
