Join Harris Regional Hospital, a 86-bed acute care facility, as a CNA Specialist on our Med/Surg Unit (2N) working nights. As a CNA Specialist, you will provide direct and non-direct personal care to patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. You will work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide safe patient care. **About the Role:**

As a CNA Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients. You will also be responsible for taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing other tasks as assigned by the Registered Nurse.

**Requirements:**

* High School graduate or GED preferred
* Current Listing as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the state of North Carolina Division of Facility Services with no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property in a facility that provides Nursing Care
* American Heart Association BLS Certification maintained
* Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
* Ability to see colors, see at least 1 mm squares
* Ability to hear within normal range
* Ability to reach overhead
* Ability to remain calm, continue to function effectively and develop priorities during stressful situations
* Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal media
* Ability to move and operate equipment and carry supplies
* Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
