Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Med/Surg Unit at Harris Regional Hospital. As a CNA Specialist, you will provide direct and non-direct personal care to patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and non-direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfers, as needed
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
  • Assist with wound care and dressing changes
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Current listing as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the state of North Carolina Division of Facility Services
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to see colors, see at least 1 mm squares
  • Ability to hear within normal range
