Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

He or she will have extensive knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and HR technologies, as well as proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of People Operations professionals.
  • Develop strategic solutions through the People Operations function to drive efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement.
  • Lead automation initiatives to improve HR efficiency and streamline workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing process accuracy.
  • Partner with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to drive and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the broader people leadership team to ensure HR strategies and initiatives are implemented effectively across the organization, both strategically and operationally.
  • Own, optimize, and implement People Operations systems and processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to senior leaders, providing strategic guidance on matters related to talent management, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide clear goals, regular feedback, and growth opportunities to foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external vendors, including negotiating clear scopes of work, ensuring timely service delivery, and keeping projects within budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Salary:$140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
