About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analytics Intern to join our team at Marmon Holdings, Inc. As a Business Analytics Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Analytics team in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Collaborate with different departments to gather relevant data from various sources. Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Apply analytical techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations within the data. Assist in developing statistical models to support decision-making.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create visually appealing and informative dashboards, graphs, and reports using data visualization tools. Summarize findings in a clear and concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Insights and Recommendations: Contribute to the identification of key business opportunities and challenges through data analysis. Assist in generating actionable insights and recommendations based on data-driven findings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Participate in meetings and discussions to share insights and contribute to strategic discussions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or others.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
