Position: Shipping Operations Coordinator

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Operations Coordinator to manage shipping and receiving tasks at our facility. This role involves ensuring accurate material handling and documentation while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of shipping, receiving, and material management tasks.
  • Complete necessary documentation to confirm material receipt and verify delivery accuracy.
  • Conduct trip transactions and manage inventory records.
  • Utilize computer systems proficiently, including Microsoft Office and other operational software.
  • Coordinate part deliveries and manage logistics outside of standard operations.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records for inventory management.
  • Engage with the customer team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Document and manage returned items effectively.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and complete required training.
  • Uphold a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and follow written instructions.
  • Proficient in computer usage and familiar with software applications.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and material control tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in various environments, including office and warehouse settings.
  • Capable of lifting items up to 50 pounds and navigating confined spaces.
  • Must be able to hear and respond to verbal commands and alarms.
  • Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
