Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sanitation Programs: Create and execute comprehensive sanitation programs, including chemical sanitation safety programs and sanitation subject matter expert (SME) guidance.
  • Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) Management: Generate, maintain, and audit MSS to ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and sanitized according to the set schedule.
  • Cleaning Systems Procedures: Oversee the cleaning systems procedures to ensure they are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Sanitation Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the sanitation team, ensuring they are trained, competent, and performing their duties to the highest standards.
  • Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) Compliance: Ensure the facility's adherence to GFSI, HACCP, and SQF standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continually assess sanitation processes and procedures, driving continuous improvement and efficiency while maintaining the highest levels of safety and cleanliness.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience: In a similar role in the food production or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven Experience: In implementing and managing chemical sanitation safety programs, sanitation SME, Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), Audit MSS, cleaning systems procedures, Sanitation, GFSI, HACCP, and SQF.
  • Strong Knowledge: Of sanitation regulations and standards in the food production industry.
  • Excellent Leadership and Team Management Skills: Ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to drive continuous improvement in sanitation processes.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to train and motivate a team.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting heavy items and working in a fast-paced environment.
