About the Role
The Service Coordinator will be responsible for performing various duties associated with dispatching functions to provide prompt and efficient service to customers. This role requires frequent contact with district employees and constant contact with customers, requiring exceptional courtesy and tact to establish and maintain good customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer all incoming telephone service requests and log customer service calls with pertinent information in the system.
  • Schedule service calls to technicians and supply necessary information to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain a follow-up system for parts ordered by technicians to guarantee complete customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain inspection lists, automatic scales, wrappers, and general lines.
  • Maintain files of equipment, including contacting customers for estimates, prices, and service completion.
  • Perform clerical tasks as needed, such as tracking consignment, assisting walk-in customers, shipping/receiving, handling phone calls for supervisors, etc.
  • Train or cross-train other employees as requested.
  • Follow up on completed service calls to verify customer satisfaction and promote service contracts.

Requirements
  • Accredited high school diploma, business or trade school, or GED.
  • A minimum of 1 year of similar or related experience with high-volume dispatching experience.
  • Ability to handle competing/multiple priorities.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid vacation, holidays, 401K with company match, and extensive on-the-job training.
