Behavior Intervention Specialist

We are seeking dedicated individuals to work as Center-Based Behavior Interventionists at Centria Autism. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with autism.
You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This will involve using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential. Key qualifications include patience, compassion, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
We provide comprehensive training so that you are equipped and empowered to help each child, regardless of your current experience. Working with children with autism can be unpredictable and potentially challenging, requiring resilience and adaptability.

Salary Range: $19 - $24 per hour
Requirements:
- Patient and compassionate nature
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not recent)
- Pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
