Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and leadership in palliative care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to patients and families
  • Perform physical examinations and provide preventive health measures
  • Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Current Adult/Geriatric or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • Valid prescriptive authority from MA DPH and Federal DEA
  • Current APRN License to practice in Massachusetts
  • At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in Palliative Care
