Job Description
The Packaging Technician role is a key position within our operations team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality packaging of our products. As a Packaging Technician, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvements, implement changes, and monitor results. Key responsibilities include maintaining high sanitary standards, operating and monitoring packaging equipment, and collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues and improve processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in math and science, basic computer skills, and experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is essential, as is the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Preferred qualifications include experience with packaging equipment and prior training in lean manufacturing principles.
