Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized educational plans that meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive therapeutic and educational services
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and techniques to promote student learning and achievement
- Monitor and record student progress, making data-driven decisions to inform instruction and programming
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment
- Supervise and support teacher aides, volunteers, and other non-professional personnel to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field required
- 6-12 months of experience working with students with special needs preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
