Facilities Maintenance - Custodial Services

At Concordia College, we are currently looking for a committed Facilities Maintenance - Custodial Services professional to become part of our team. If you have a strong dedication to cleanliness and safety, this opportunity may be ideal for you.

Job Overview:

  • Perform a comprehensive range of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waxing, stripping, and polishing floors; vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
  • Sanitize restroom facilities and associated fixtures such as drinking fountains, sinks, urinals, and toilets; restock supplies in restrooms.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and walls.
  • Empty, clean, and sanitize waste containers.
  • Replace light bulbs as necessary.
  • Identify and report maintenance requirements in designated buildings and facilities.
  • Manage snow and ice removal using ice melt, snow blowers, and manual shoveling.
  • Assist with additional projects as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Capability to lift, pull, push, climb, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be a self-motivated, reliable individual capable of working independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret written and verbal instructions, demonstrating competence to work with minimal supervision.
