About the Job

The Radiologic Technologist is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other radiographic examinations as prescribed by physicians.
  • Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain accurate images.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Monitor patients during examinations to ensure well-being and proper conduct of the procedure.
  • Operate radiographic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance.
  • Maintain radiographic equipment in good working order, perform routine maintenance, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Follow established procedures for infection control and patient safety.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and reports.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable).
  • Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred but not required.
Working Conditions:

Work may involve standing for long periods, moving and positioning patients, and operating heavy equipment.

Exposure to radiation, infectious diseases, and potentially hazardous materials is inherent in this role; adherence to safety protocols is essential.

May require working evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts depending on department needs.
